Auckland Niue Rugby League was established in 2016 with the intention to use rugby league as a catalyst for the cultural, well-being and league development of the Niue community in Auckland, New Zealand.
We are an inclusive organisation who have formed positive working relationships with other key stakeholders in the Rugby League sector.

We have a diverse group of committee members who are very dedicated to the growth of rugby league development for all Niue players, their fanau (families) and the wider community.

Our culture is at the heart of all that we do here at ANRL. We understand that our culture is who we are and defines us as a people. One of our goals for 2021 is to help our rugby league community gain a sense of identity by gaining an understanding and experiencing our culture through the game that we love.

We understand that there is more to just coaching rugby league. We aim to build good people. One of our aims is to build good people who are connected to their identity, proud of who they are and confident in themselves. This can be done by having a deeper connection to their culture and language.

Community is a vital part of our organisation. Our community is made up of players, families, volunteers and supporters who contribute to our great journey. This year we aim to build our community connections through our culture, language and rugby league. We are grateful for our community and thank them for their continued support.

Auckland Niue Rugby League was established in 2016 to celebrate our Niuean culture, play for our Fanau (families) and enable our athletes to be better people through representing and supporting Niue in rugby league. We are proud to be an affiliated member of Auckland Rugby League, and we work collectively with other key rugby league Pasifika nations, New Zealand Rugby League, and Counties Manukau Rugby League. Our diverse group of committee members each bring different skills, and are very dedicated to the growth and development of all Niue rugby league players. We are also focused on player well-being, and identifying opportunities to further support their enjoyment playing rugby league for Auckland Niue, New Zealand. We look forward to meeting and working with you soon!
